About the Firm

The Law Offices of Thomas J. Lamb, P. A., is a North Carolina law firm that handles asbestos claims and mesothelioma lawsuits, as well as other personal injury and wrongful death cases involving unsafe prescription drugs, harmful chemicals, and other dangerous products.

The firm does not put its clients into any class action lawsuits. Rather, we favor an individual case approach, which allows us to give personal attention to our clients from start to finish.

Attorney Tom Lamb started the firm in 1996 after working at one of the nation’s largest plaintiff law firms, Ness Motley Loadholt Richardson & Poole, in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to that, Tom worked on the other side of the fence at a defense firm, Keesal Young & Logan, in Long Beach, California.

YAZ -- as well as Gianvi, Loryna, and Vestura (generic versions) -- are combination oral contraceptives, or birth control pills, made up of ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone.  Beyaz contains the same estrogen-progestin combination as YAZ plus 0.451 mg of levomefolate calcium.

 

Yasmin / Ocella / Zarah / Syeda / Safyral

Yasmin -- as well as Ocella, Zarah, and Syeda (generic versions) -- are birth control pills containing ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone.  Safyral contains the same estrogen-progestin combination as Yasmin plus 0.451 mg of levomefolate calcium.

 

Multaq

Multaq (dronearone) is a drug used to treat patients who have had an abnormal heart rhythm (atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter).

 

Meridia

Meridia (sibutramine) is a prescription drug used to aid in weight loss.

 

Levaquin

Levaquin is a fluoroquinolone class antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections ranging from pneumonia and bronchitis to urinary tract infections.

 

Nuva Ring

NuvaRing is a birth control product in the form of a vaginal ring.

 

Fosamax

Fosamax (alendronate) is used to treat osteoporosis.

 

Byetta

Byetta (exenatide) is a type 2 diabetes medication.

 

Zocor

Zocor (simvastatin) is a popular cholesterol-lowering drug.

 

Ortho Evra Patch

Ortho Evra is a skin adhesive patch used for birth control.

 

Avandia

Avandia (rosiglitazone) is in the thiazolidinedione class of drug and is used to treat Type 2 diabetes patients with insulin resistance.

 

Zetia and Vytorin

Zetia (ezetimibe) and Vytorin (ezetimibe/simvastatin) are cholesterol-lowering drugs.

 

Ketek

Ketek (telithromycin) is an antibiotic that has been associated with serious liver problems such as drug-induced hepatitis and liver failure.
