About the Firm

The firm is the Law Offices of Thomas J. Lamb, P.A., a national litigation practice representing people who have been seriously injured or died as a result of unsafe drugs, harmful chemicals, and dangerous products. In association with other law firms around the country, we form hand-picked legal teams to collaboratively represent clients more effectively.

The firm does not put its clients into any class action lawsuits. Rather, we favor an individual case approach, which allows us to give personal attention to our clients from start to finish.

Attorney Tom Lamb started the firm in 1996 after working at one of the nation’s largest plaintiff law firms, Ness Motley Loadholt Richardson & Poole, in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to that, Tom worked on the other side of the fence at a defense firm, Keesal Young & Logan, in Long Beach, California.

Ortho Evra is a skin adhesive patch used for birth control.

 

Avandia

Avandia (rosiglitazone) is in the thiazolidinedione class of drug and is used to treat Type 2 diabetes patients with insulin resistance.

 

Zetia and Vytorin

Zetia (ezetimibe) and Vytorin (ezetimibe/simvastatin) are cholesterol-lowering drugs.

 

Ketek

Ketek (telithromycin) is an antibiotic that has been associated with serious liver problems such as drug-induced hepatitis and liver failure.

 

Zelnorm

Zelnorm is a serotonin agonist used for short term treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with constipation.

 

Digitek

Digitek (digoxin tablets) is used in the treatment of congestive heart failure and other problems.

 

Permax and Dostinex

Permax (pergolide) and Dostinex (cabergoline) are in the same drug class and used to treat Parkinson's Disease, restless leg syndrome, and migraine headaches.

 

Natrecor

Natrecor (nesiritide) is an intravenous treatment given after heart failure to lessen the symptoms of shortness of breath (dyspnea).

 

Tequin

Tequin (gatifloxacin) is a broad spectrum antibiotic medication used to treat respiratory and lung infections.

 

Bextra

Bextra (valdecoxib) is a pain pill that is very similar to Vioxx; both are in the COX-2 inhibitor class of drugs.

Asbestos
